French Soup

7 Lg potatoes
3 green onions
water for boiling
3 Tablespoons of butter
1 cup of milk
salt & pepper


Peel, wash and cube potatoes; transfer into a saucepan.
clean green onions chop and add to potatoes
Pour in water; boil until vegetables are soft
add milk,butter,salt and pepper
use potato smasher and smash soup mixture.
bring back to a simmer. Remove and serve.

You can serve with grilled sandwiches.
