Louisiana Cajun
SHRIMP CREOLE' *Ingredients* 1Tbs. All-Purpose Flour 1Med. Onion- Chopped 1 Green Pepper- Chopped 1/2 C. Celery- Chopped 1 Bay Leaf 1Tsp. Salt + 1/8 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper 1/4 Tsp.Thyme 1Tsp. Worshester Sauce 1 can Tomato Paste 1 Lg. can (Diced) Tomatos 2 C. Water 2 * Chicken Bouillion Cubes 1 Bag Frozen (peeled) Ex-Lg. Shrimp 1 Cup (Thin Sliced) Kabasa 3 Cups of White (Whole Grain) Rice *Prepare* Wash Rice then put in a 2 quart pot, cover with water and cook (with lid on) until done=(20 min.) *Set Cooked Rice on the side.* In a small Skillet fry the sliced Kabasa until brown. *(set aside)* Put Margarine in a (Large) skillet, add chopped Onions, Celery and Green Peppers. Cook until almost done and *add the cooked Kabasa. Remove from heat and Add Flour and stir (mix well) Add *all other ingredients *(except rice)* Simmer for 20 Min. Add Thawed (Peeled) Shrimp and cook until shrimp is done (10 Min.) Place cooked Rice on plate and spoon Creole' over Rice... VOILA'!!
