RAINBOW CAKE... (Come on your kids will LOVE IT)


HEY HEY HEY i got something the kids with SCREAM for a PARTIES or JUST for a NICE TREAT...
Quick EASY
No fuss
easy jobs for your kids to help you with...


Preheat oven to 180'c gas mark 4

2 Tcups of self raising flour.
2 Tcups of sugar (Use less if 2 tea cups is too much.)
2 Eggs.
vanilla essence.
pinch salt.
1 teaspoon of baking powder.
1 cup of organic butter.
1 cup of milk.
Food colouring.

First you need free the flour of lumps so sifted works best for this cake.
Add baking powder and salt.
Rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs and rub in sugar.
These are all dry ingredients.
Now you need to bring together with whisked eggs.
Then add the milk and mix to a smooth constancy.

In one bowl add some of the mixture with blue.
One with red
One with a drop of red and lots of plain mixture to make orange.
One with green.
One with blue and red to make purple.
yellow will be the plain mixture.

Bring it all together red to purple on one side.
That is the first circle do the same again bring it together EXCEPT
do it in reverse this time.

Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Leave to completly cool and then remove from tin and cut the semi circle into half.

Sandwich together with butter cream

Butter cream
Mix together warm butter with icing sugar and beat well.
Allow to stiffen a little, but still spreadable.
Spread over one half of cake.
Decorated with fruit pastels or chocolate buttons or any sweets your kids love.

Now people asked me how do you cut this cake.
Lay it flat on it's side and cut into circles EASY>>>

My whole family love this cake.
I can't wait to make it for my kids when they're born and old enough to have cake.
