Quick Chicken Teriyaki
1/4 cup Italian Dressing
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into strips or bite sized pieces
1 1/3 cups water
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 cups frozen broccoli florets
1 1/2 cups minute rice, uncooked
Heat dressing in a large non-stick skillet on medium high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 5-7 minutes or until cooked through.
Add water, teriyaki sauce and garlic powder; stir. Bring to a boil.
Stir in broccoli and rice; cover. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. fluff with fork.
Makes 4 servings....
(my idea, increase saucy ingredients, and add more vegetables of choice. carrots, green peppers, red peppers, onions etc.......)
