This is an Arabic recipe
Mainly a starter and ate in between main meal
It comes into the Samousa family
Its so simple and easy
So delicious


This is one with a simple traditional filling
I will then teach you more fillings


Ingredients

potatoes Lots
Big ones maybe 4 or 5
If they are medium
Maybe 7 or 8

Peel them and boil them in Onion and white pepper
Any herbs you wish
Until they are tender and soft.
Drain water reserving some in a cup

Mash them up with butter, adding some of the herbal water you boiled them in.
Do not add too much they can't be too soft
Add little olive oil
Leave aside


Chop up 3 onions
2 tomatoes
1/2 chillies
7 cloves of crushed garlic
Herbs
1 kilo of minced meat

Now use one knob of english welsh butter
Adding one tea spoon of sunflower oil

Fry first meat and onions
Until onions are browned
Then add the chilli and garlic
Add tadori masalah and whatever herbs you wish
Then tomatoes

Place into the mashed potatoe
Mix well

Chop up half a block of cheese
Cut into small thick cubes

Add spinage and finger bunch of coriander

Now mix together with potatoe


Now pick up knobs of it and roll it smoothly into big balls

After having done that leave aside

Whisk 2 eggs
Get clean work top saver
Covered in breadcrumbs
Heat sunflower oil in wok or chip pan
You can shallow fry and keep turning or you can deep fry until goldon brown

Dip the ball in egg then into bread crumbs until completely covered
Add to pan
Do this until all are ready

Then If shallow frying
Cook two at a time making sure both sides are goldon brown
If deep frying
Fry all until goldon brown

Place on tissue and grease proof paper until all oil is drained from them

Now Get ready to sit back and enjoy your Catalics
