Monterey Ranch Bread (Whereisthelove)

-2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
-3/4 cup ranch dressing (with bacon, if desired)
-1 loaf unsliced French bread
-Minced fresh parsley or dried parsley flakes

In a bowl, combine the cheese and ranch dressing; set aside. Cut bread in half length-wise and brush inside with butter. Place on baking sheet with the crust side down. Broil 4 inches from heat until golden brown. Spread with cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley. Cut into 1 1/2 inch slices. Makes 6-8 servings.
