Blueberries are a fantastic food, high in anti-oxidants,
as well as vitamin C.
These beautiful and delicious berries are available at most supermarkets,
and are in the produce section.
Between May and November, prices for blueberries are reasonable.
The following is an easy snack, requiring no equipment
pint pack Blueberries
1 quart milk. almond milk
1 cup granola
Rinse the blueberries, remove any stems or pebbles,
spoon into 4 cups or small bowls.
Peel and slice the bananas.
Layer granola, bananas, blueberries.
Add milk or almond milk and serve.
Blueberry Banana Parfait
1 pint yogurt
1 pint blueberries
1/4 cup granola
Rinse the fruit. Slice the (peel the bananas) bananas and slice the strawberries, after removing the strawberry tops. Layer the ingredients into four glasses, and serve.
