Salmon Chowder
1 can salmon
juice from one can tuna
1 tablespoon butter
1 bottle clam juice
1/2 cup shredded carrots
4 sliced baby carrots
a few torn basil leaves
2 cups unsweetened almond milk or oatmeal milk
1/4 tsp bay leaf
1 tablespoon dill
Get out medium saucepan, add above ingredients carefully, place on low-medium heat, cover, cook for 20 minutes.
6 - 8 cherry or grape tomatoes
6 - 8 basil leaves
Place rinsed cherry tomatoes and nice-looking basil leaves in 6 -8 cups, one per cup, pour hot soup over carefully, serve
Serves 6 - 8
Serve with flatbread or crackers or naan plus curry or pickles
