Millet Treats

1 stick softened butter or margarine
1 bag mini-marshmallows
1 bag dried cranberries
1 bag puffed millet cereal

Mix above ingredients into a bowl.

Grease one 9" x 12" glass pan with butter or margarine - place mixture in oven, turn oven on to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, cook for fifteen minutes, turn off oven, allow mini-marshmallows to completely melt, and mixture to cool down.

If you prefer, cook the ingredients in a microwave for five minutes, and mold into balls after the mini-marshmallows melt.

This is a little bit healthier than those marshmallow treats.

If this isn't sweet enough for you, or isn't firm enough, melt one 8 ounce chocolate bar and dip each ball or bar into the melted chocolate. This will help to hold it together, and will make it sweeter.
