Hot Chocolate for lactose intolerant


Fill cup 1/2 full of chocolate soy milk such as Silk or 8th Continent
Fill cup next half full of dairy milk, such as Lactaid or Fairlife

Microwave for 40 seconds. Stop. Stir or let sit for a moment.
Microwave for 30 seconds. Stop. Wait. Remove onto cup plate or tray.

Add plant-based topping such as Silk, or Friendly Farms coconut whip - if you cannot find those, settle for Cool Whip.

Then, there is the warming plate method.
Plug in warming plate with empty saucepan on top that has 1 tbl. water.
(1 big spoon, 1 tablespoon)
Add 1 cup full of plant chocolate milk, 1 cup of unsweetened milk, stir.
Turn timer on to 15 minutes. By this time, the milk should be warm.
