Q:  How do I upload my own image/photo?

A:  You must first have a digital image stored on your own computer.  Digital images are normally created with a digital camera, scanner, or drawing software.  Images that you upload should be a .jpg or .gif image (these are the typical image formats used on the internet).  To ensure your homepage loads quickly, you should upload an image that has a small file size.  Once your have your image stored on your computer, follow these steps:

  1. Please limit the size of the image to 64,000 bytes (64K).
  2. Go to your "Control Panel".
  3. Select the "Photo" option under "Manage Site".
  4. Click the "Browse" button and navigate to the image stored on your computer.
  5. Select the image and click on the "Save" or "Open" button.
  6. Click on the "Change" button and wait up to a few minutes for the image to transfer to cookhelpers.com's server.
  7. This completes the steps.  You may need to "Reload"/"Refresh" your homepage to view the image.  Some users have also had to close their web browser and open it up again to see the uploaded image.

  2. Go to your "Control Panel".
  3. Select the "Background" option under "Manage Site".
  4. Click the "Browse" button and navigate to the image stored on your computer.
  5. Select the image and click on the "Save" or "Open" button.
  6. Click on the "Change" button and wait up to a few minutes for the image to transfer to cookhelpers.com's server.

Q:  How do I remove an uploaded background?

A:  We don't have this feature implemented yet.  Please upload another background or select one we provide.
