Mrs. Fritz’s Butter Cake
½ lb.   Butter
2 cups   Flour (sift)
¾ cup   Sugar
3   Eggs
2 tsp.   Baking Powder
1 tsp.   Vanilla
  Sugar
  Sweet cream
  Cinnamon
  Slivered almonds
1.   cream butter & sugar
2.   add eggs, one at a time
3.   add vanilla
4.   sift flour with baking powder & add
5.   spread on well-greased cookie sheet (jelly-roll pan)
6.   top with sugar, cinnamon & slivered almonds
7.   bake at 350 for about 20 – 30 minutes
pour cream over cake while still hot
