All in One Pot Saucy Pasta
1 pound ground beef
1 medium/large onion, chopped
3 cups rotini pasta, uncooked
3 1/2 cups water
1 jar (26 ounces) spaghetti sauce (about 3 cups)
1 cup sliced mushrooms (used canned if desired)
1 cup chopped red peppers
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Brown meat and onions in a large deep skillet. Cook until brown and drain.
Add pasta, water and spaghetti sauce. Bring to a boil; cover. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add mushrooms and red peppers; cook 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese.
