Carrots

Many varieties of carrots exist on the marketplace - frozen carrots, canned carrots, peeled carrots or baby carrots, whole carrots, shredded carrots, sliced carrots, julienne carrots, colourful carrots. It's not just the same old day in day out bags of carrots that were available way back when, in the 25 pound bag or the 25 kilo bag.

Sure, everyone knows how to wash a carrot, peel off the outside for appearance, then place the carrot into a blender after cutting it into 3 inch sections, then, add a little water, and place the blender onto a low setting. Then, be sure to watch a youtube video to see how to clean the thing.

Shredded carrots from the store are always nice when in a pinch for time, or for when your manicure is more expensive to replace. Adding dried cranberries, halved grapes, or raisins is a way of making the shredded carrot scoop thing sweeter.

Carrot tops can be cut off the carrot, placed into a dish by a window, and grown for the carrot seeds themselves.
